For hundreds of years, mankind has been desperately looking for techniques to lengthen the normal person’s lifespan. From the earliest sciences to contemporary medicine, man has finally succeeded. During the Bronze Age, the average lifespan at birth was only 18 years. In contrast, the average lifespan of a person born today is 65. And many are even approaching the century mark. And many are even living to be a hundred years of age.

Many things are responsible for the startling increase in longevity. Many are looking at nutritional products such as life dynamics acai. But researchers have pretty much concluded that one of the factors in improving the odds of living longer is exercise. And of the exercises that you can indulge in, weight training is one of the best.

The combination of weight training with aerobic exercise is the perfect team of exercises and practices to keep your body flexible and active. It’s also a great way for keeping both your body and mind young.

Researchers have shown that the more one exercises, the more he is able to control any number of diseases – such as high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, and others. But,without exercise, your risk of a wide assortment of chronic illnesses is increased.

Improved health naturally leads to longevity and anti-aging. The better your body is of fighting off infections and maintaining its health, the less stress is placed on the various organs of the body. Less stress leads to better health overall and thus, longer life.

To those that practice weight training, the exercise provides them with enormous relief from daily tensions. It also helps to improve the blood flow to many of the major organs of the body. As an added bonus, it helps to increase bone density as well.

Recently, a research study tracked five thousand seniors in an effort to determine the role of exercise on lifespan. It was found that those who exercised, even a little bit, extended their lifespan. And the more they exercised, the longer the span of life was extended. It just proves that even the tiniest bit of exercise can be a good thing.
